Greene County General Session Court Cases Heard by Judge Kenneth Bailey Jr. on Aug. 31 included:

Terry L. Sexton, 1690 Culbertson Road, fined $350 and court cost, sentenced to 11 months 29 days suspended to 2 days in jail, with the balance on probation, required to attend DUI school and license suspended for one year, for DUI.

James B. Cobble, 727 W. Main St., fined $1,250 and court cost, sentenced to 11 months 29 days suspended to 120 days in jail, with the balance on probation, required to attend DUI school and license suspended for seven years, for unlawful drug paraphernalia and DUI.

Jonathan R. Miller, 207 Alderman Drive, fined $100 and court cost, sentenced to 11 months 29 days suspended to 100 days in jail, for resisting stop, arrest and evading arrest.

Holly L. Gunnoe, 360 Jones Chapel Lane, fined $250 and court cost, sentenced to 11 months 29 days suspended to 100 days in jail, with the balance on probation, for driving while license revoked or suspended, criminal impersonation, resisting stop, frisk, halt, arrest or search, misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor domestic assault.

Jimmy Dean Hale, 107 Chapel St., fined $50 and court cost, sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail, with the balance on probation, for failure to appear.

Joshua Rainier Bitzer, 1050 House Road, fined $950 and court cost, sentenced to 11 months 29 days suspended to 252 days in jail, day for day, with the balance on probation, for violation of financial responsibility law, misdemeanor evading arrest, driving on a revoked license, criminal impersonation and schedule II drug violation; consecutive to Greene County Criminal Court sentencing.

Jeremy R. McKinney, 421 W. Main St., placed on probation and must complete domestic violence classes, for domestic assault.

Whitney Myers (Scalf), 630 Reagon Hollow Road, Midway, sentenced to six month at 70 percent release eligibility date and probation terminated for violation of probation.

Robert Mathes, 3665 Mt. Carmel Road, Mosheim, sentenced to 11 months 29 days at 70 percent release eligibility date and probation terminated for violation of probation.

Jamie Ridenour, 116 Unaka St., sentenced to 30 days, probation continued and extended 11 months for violation of probation.

Joshua Foshie, 95 Johnson Hollow Road, sentenced to 30 days, probation continued and extended 11 months for violation of probation.

Jeremy Henry, 175 Community Center Road, Midway, sentenced to 5 days in jail, probation continued and extended 11 months for violation of probation.

Jonathan Richard, 111 Unaka St., sentenced to 11 months 29 days at 70 percent release eligibility date and probation terminated for violation of probation.

Jimmy Dean Hale, 107 Chapel St., sentenced to 30 days, probation continued and extended 11 months for violation of probation.

Joshua Bitzer, 1050 House Road, sentenced to two terms of 11 months 29 days at 75 percent release eligibility date and probation terminated for violation of probation.

Violation of probation charges were dismissed for:

Bianca Claudette Lentz, 94 Moonlight Court, Midway, probation terminated;

Joshua K. Smelcer, 2395 Fodderstack Mountainn Loop, probation continued;

Mark Kinsey, 645 Chandler Circle, probation continued.

Charges were dismissed for the following:

Phillip Wayne Riddle, 2281 Old State Route 34, Limestone, for failure to appear;

Jimmy Dean Hale, 107 Chapel St., for failure to appear;

Ryan S. Hensley, 4009 Hemlock Park Drive, Kingsport, for manufacture, delivery, sale or possession of methamphetamine and simple possession of schedule VI drugs;

Joshua Rainier Bitzer, 1050 House Road, for violation of vehicle tail lamp law and violation of registration law;

Chadwick M. Moore, 113 Spring St., for domestic assault.

The state declined to prosecute the following:

Terry L. Sexton, 1690 Culbertson Road, for violation of implied consent;

James B. Cobble, 727 W. Main St., for violation of implied consent law and simple possession/casual exchange;

Randall D. Houston, 35 Cedar Ave., for aggravated assault;

Jimmy D. Hale, 107 Chapel St., for resisting stop, arrest and failure to appear;

Della Reynolds, 13715 Lonesome Pine Trail, for animals/animal husbandry violation and cruelty to animals.

A judicial diversion was granted for Barbara Hampton, 5295 Dulaney Road, for theft under $1,000.
