Greene County General Session Court Cases Heard by Judge Kenneth Bailey Jr. on Sept. 25 included:

Joshua Wayne Lynthacum, 959 Sheep Farm Road, Mount Airy, North Carolina, fined $50 and court cost, sentenced to 30 days in jail, all time suspended, with the balance on probation, for disorderly conduct.

Ethan Pack, 27 Pigeon Creek Road, fined $50 and court cost, sentenced to six month in jail, all time suspended, must serve 20 hours community work service, must complete 8 hours of defensive driving school, for reckless driving.

Ricky D. Hensley, 304 Park St., fined $200 and court cost, sentenced to 11 months 29 days suspended to 20 days in jail, with the balance on probation, for violation of financial responsibility law and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

Chrystal A. Spencer, 6908 Lone Star Road, Kingsport, fined $25 and court cost, sentenced to 25 days suspended to 12 days in jail, for public intoxication.

Mary S. Rimer, 463 Webster Valley road, Rogersville, fined $50 and court cost, sentenced to six month in jail, all time suspended, drivers license revoked for medical issues, for reckless driving.

James Roy Sauceman, 145 Hixon Circle, fined $50 and court cost, sentenced to 11 months 29 days suspended to 2 days in jail, with the balance on probation, for possession of stolen property.

Amanda Brooke Potter, 115 Laurel Estates Circle, Chuckey, fined $3,400 and court cost, sentenced to 11 months 29 days suspended to 40 days in jail, with the balance on probation, for schedule I drug violation, schedule III drug violation, schedule VI drug violation, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of schedule II drug violation.

Roger Pellito Da Silva, 3323 Cranberry Springs Road, Fleetwood, North Carolina, fined $150 and court cost, sentenced to 11 months 29 days suspended to 2 days in jail, with the balance on probation, for unlawful drug paraphernalia.

Tia Greene, 5050 Bluff City Highway, Bluff City, sentenced to 30 days in jail, probation continued and extended 11 months for violation of probation.

James Ray Sauceman, 145 Hixon Circle, sentenced to 10 days in jail, probation continued and extended 11 months for violation of probation.

Amanda Potter, 240 Sam Jenkins Lane, sentenced to 10 days in jail, probation continued and extended 11 months for violation of probation.

Violation of probation charges were dismissed for the following:

Robert Craig Foster, 1841 Fairview Road, Afton, probation terminated;

Olaf Kristian Thorkildson, 408 N. Main St., ordered to pay court cost, probation continued and extended 11 months;

Brandi Dugger, 959 Round Knob Road, ordered to pay court cost, probation continued and extended 11 months;

Kayla Clayton, 52 Bainey Broyles road, ordered to pay court cost, probation continued and extended 11 months;

Jacob Clayton, 52 Bainey Broyles Road, ordered to pay court cost, probation continued and extended 11 months.

Charges were dismissed for the following:

Christopher Thornton, 6018 Wichita Drive, Knoxville, for theft of property (merchandise) over $500;

Joshua Wayne Lythancum, 959 Sheep Farm Road, Mount Airy, North Carolina, for domestic assault;

Garry R. Ball, 14865 Horton Highway, Chuckey, for failure to appear and domestic assault;

Tina M. McClain, 4256 Rheatown Road, Chuckey, for aggravated domestic assault;

John Joy Burkett, 4955 Warrensburg Road, for schedule VI drug violation.

The state declined to prosecute

Jay Scott Reed, 7498 Lee Highway, Fairlawn, Virginia, for disorderly conduct;

Mary S. Rimer, 463 Webster Valley Road, Rogersville, for schedule IV drug violation, drug without a prescription and schedule V drug violation;

Roger Pellito Da Silva, 3323 Cranberry Springs Road, Fleetwood, North Carolina, for public intoxication.

A judicial diversion was granted for the following:

Aliyah L. Kesterson, 310 Charles Johnson Road, Chuckey, for simple possession of schedule VI drugs;

Andrew J. Hickman, 90 Sugar Bowl Road, Chuckey, for two counts of misdemeanor assault;

Earl Donnell Wilburn Jr., 1419 Peach Park Lane, Charlotte, North Carolina, for schedule VI drug violation and possession of drug paraphernalia.
