A Mosheim woman faces multiple charges after allegedly attempting to run from a Greene County sheriff's deputy.
A report filed by Deputy Billy Walters says Christina J. Kohr, 22, of Mt. Carmel Road, was charged with felony reckless endangerment, felony evading arrest and driving on a suspended license.
Kohr was stopped at the intersection of Marvin Road and Mt. Carmel Road Monday when Walters saw that she was not wearing a seatbelt.
Walters' report says that when he pulled up to her vehicle, she drove away. When he caught up to her, she did not slow down or stop for the deputy's blue lights.
After going around a curve, Kohr drove through a fence and field, stopping to hide behind an abandoned house, according to the report. She then started to run around the house as the officer approached, but was stopped.
According to the report, the felony reckless endangerment charge was filed because Kohr is nine months pregnant. She also faces an active warrant from Hawkins County.
She is being held at the Greene County Detention Center pending a Wednesday court appearance.
